Quem deve concorrer ao Billboard Music Awards 2021? A resposta está aqui! A premiação, que é uma mais importantes no meio musical, afinal é organizado pela revista, que é responsável por medir todos os números dos principais hits do mundo na famosa lista de paradas da ‘Hot 100’, e que também acaba servindo de termômetro para os grandes nomes entenderem que está crescendo com seus trabalhos de uma forma geral, ou não.

E hoje no programa americano, ‘Today Show’, foram anunciadas algumas categorias da premiação, como por exemplo a ‘Top Hot 100 Artist’, que conta com uma disputa bem acirrada entre DaBaby, Drake, Dua Lipa, Pop Smoke e The Weeknd. Outras duas categorias também foram divulgadas, ‘Melhor Artista Latino’ e ‘Melhor Rapper Feminina’.
As outras categorias e mais informações detalhadas sobre o evento serão divulgadas em uma live exclusiva feita pela Billboard, chamada de ‘The List Live’. Já a premiação acontece no dia 23 de Maio em Los Angeles e deve fazer parte da nova retomada de eventos com um afrouxamento maior das medidas de distanciamento, assim como já aconteceu no Oscar.
A votação para o Billboard Music Awards para eleger os vencedores, é feita basicamente baseada na interação dos fãs com a música de seus ídolos, incluindo álbuns e vendas de cópias digitais e físicas, streaming, execuções em rádios, e engajamento nas redes sociais, tudo medido pela própria revista, que incluem parceria com a MRC Data, e este ano foi baseado nas músicas lançadas entre 21 de Março de 2020 até 3 de Abril de 2021. A votação também terá uma categoria para os fãs votarem.
